Apologies for the gap in comics, but I’ve been busy throwing together an application for the 2010 San Diego Comic Con. Not only do I hope to fly the Riotfish banner at this alpha nerd event, but I’ll be traveling with my animation partner, the talented Mr. Pasquale La Montagna, and we’ll be field testing a project we’ve been working on together for the past few years. The Natural History of a World Without End is a hybrid beast, which exists in both animated and comic book form. The world and story is somewhere between Lovecraft, Brian Aldiss and Blackadder, and I’m pretty excited to finally be able to share it. Over the next week we’ll be posting the two page sampler we cooked up for the SDCC application package, and you can check out the teaser trailer for the animated version over on YouTube! Pasquale did a great job with the animation, Matt Walters composed the music, and it was awesome seeing it all come together.
In other news, James and myself were interviewed by Weapon Brown’s Jason Yungbluth, over at Deep Fried Comics, complete with author photos! Be careful, though, as there are SPOILERS in the interview.

…wow! Awesome to see World Without End on the Internets, available for all! :D Good luck, guys!
It’s very beautiful.
Also, people who like strange “what is going on here?” stories might like What Birds Know. http://fribergthorelli.karrey.com/wbk/comicarchive.htm It has stronger characterization and very different art, but similar visual storytelling.
hm… starts promising….
wahoo! can the sequel be called ‘the world with enternets?” i dont know why, im making that request, but i bet it would be one helluva scary one!
‘world WITHOUT, without enternets’, or internets, or internet. loud and clear?
