I expect that whole thing (is it a city?) to explode while the Descender and the Automaton run away really fast.
Also, there’s nothing I hate more than hearing a grade school band or orchestra butcher my favorite tunes. Being a band geek, I can point out all of their problems.
I might need some help with the action on this one …
The HELP zombie, still gripping our hero by the front of his shirt, sproings powerfully away from the open door and up the exterior of the tube. We see a long shot of the “city,” a series of long parallel tubes with bulbous rooms at intervals along their length, and then we see a spaceship that is either trailing a flaming tail, or mated to a luminous bulb that protrudes from the city below. It looks like the same spaceship that the circle dudes left in. Based on the orientation and density of the tubes depicted in that panel, I have the feeling that the space ship is lower down, and that it will pass our duo.
Maybe the homunculus and Our Hero will jump on the space ship. That would be awesome but also probably disastrous.
I just realized that the unofficial theme song would make the greatest ringtone ever.
