I am currently exhibiting symptoms of comic withdrawal. Or maybe boneitis. Whatever it is, my left femur is bent at a 90-degree angle and it is very uncomfortable.
Actually it’s fairly convenient for me that it doesn’t update. For a while there I thought that the 1989 art style was so distinctive that I could tell at a glance that we weren’t yet back to CSG or the Descender. But after a month or so I realized that it wasn’t the art style that told me each morning “no comic I care about,” it’s the same comic.
I’m not sure why I don’t take it out of the “open all in tabs” every morning list and move it to say, the “check every month to see if the artist has got over emo yet” list.
currently the plan is one more 1989 page, and soon (it’s penciled already, maybe even inked by now,) then a return to descender or random commercial parody
I received my minicomics in the mail last week and they are awesome! Seriously love the covers to the two 1989’s. Interesting reading Newspaper Comic as several to a page. Best four letters I ever typed. Thanks man.
