The main reason I started up 1989 again is because I was inspired by the Swedish film “Let The Right One In”. It’s a beautiful, emotionally engaging film about two 12 year old androgynoids, with a directorial style reminiscent of the best anime filmmakers, ie; Miyazaki. It’s probably the best horror film I’ve seen since A Tale of Two Sisters. It comes out on DVD in March, so keep your eyes open. It looks like Youtube pulled all the film clips except this one. Avoid the trailer if you can – it’s kind of shitty, and frankly, it’s best to see this film without knowing anything about it.
