It’s not fair! You’re up against people who can draw. A casual browser of that list is not going realize that we regular readers derive some of our enjoyment from trying to figure out what the comic is depicting.
Plus he’s going to to think that Chomp Nutz IS the comic, and so help me if I had a chance to vote Chomp Nutz off the island I’d vote twice.
Know that if you lose you’ve lost on immediate appeal of the artwork and not on originality and convoluted plotting.

yeah we can draw! well justin can draw. we usually get the opposite note – that the art is good but the comic doesn’ t make any sense. so your comment is good to hear, although it probably frustrates justin!
If they want the comic to make sense, then they need to read it from the start. The art doesn’t show how well the comic is written.
Honestly, if a first-grader was drawing this, I’d still looove the story. It’s interesting.
Justin’s a great artist. I think that competition downplays his talents.
it’s obvious that some people aren’t looking at the ‘big picture’ here. justin also does the headers, and a quick glance at the gallery, linked to above, will show without a doubt the talents of the artist. the fact that he can conform to the cartoony style of NCS alone is testament to his talent. fuck da haterz, man!
