Well, my writer disappeared, so if the dialogue changes over the next 24 hours, don’t be alarmed.
UPDATE: My writer re-appeared. There won’t be any dialogue changes.

Gasp! It’s back! Now will the world of the descender intersect the world of the Newspaper Comic Strip Guy?
GROCERIES!!!
Me: It would be great if the Descender guy suddenly jumped into the newspaper comic strip through a window or something.
I thought I’d finally make a comment. I’ve been reading this site for ages now and I just can’t believe how awesome all your comics are. I love everything you guys make, particularly 1989. I can’t wait for your next update :D.
Also: I love the look on her face in panel 5.
Oh oodalolly, hes back!
I do so love his spikey hair in these panels. I also love how his wife is looking at him like hes insane. Because he is. :3
Me, Andy: Hey those are only 2 of the 20 million comics we run on the site. Come on, think big!
Eruanna: Is it spikier than before? Gosh, I hope I haven’t been touched in the head by my exposure to Anime Evolution.
Jez: Thanks! Now that my writer is settled into his new city, we’re going to commit many months of updates to just Newspaper Comic Strip. I’d really love to get back to 1989, but it’s way more work than the other comics we run. But who knows, it could be the next comic we focus on! We’ll see how the fall season goes.
What if the kids in 1989 ended up on whatever the Descender Guy is on and they all met up with NCS Guy but reading the comic strip and getting sucked in?
Is that good enough for ya?
And NCS Guy’s hair is pretty spiky tonight. Maybe he’s been using too much mousse? Or hairspray? Or hair gel?
Flop sweat is nature’s hairspray.
Just for the record, we’ll be back next week, which will hopefully see two whole updates! Oh boy!
