Why can he see Hobbled and not the other comics? Is it because they exist in the same world?

Well, there’s still strips around him. Even if it’s not Sunday. If I remember correctly, Hobbled is at the top of the page while NCS is second down. So there’s four more strips surrounding him.

…I still say he’s plotting to kill his wife.
But now he’s adding into the account the son… He’s going to do this old-school CSI style.
He’s going to have sex with her, strangle her, inject the boy with some sort of street drug, make sure he OD’s and bring him into the bedroom and make it look like some sort of incest suicide.
