I think his “wife” is starting to suspect that something is seriously wrong with him now. That’s how it looks in the last panel.

She defonatly thinks hes crazy. Begining to wonder if hes a bit touched in the head.
But the question is, IS he crazy? We as the audiance know that he indeed correct, not crazy, he really IS in a comic strip…… or do we? Maybe its a comic strip about a man who went insane and THOUGHT he was in a comic strip! Maybe he is just plain loopy!
