Spazerface: There are a couple reasons for the apparent convergence in style, the main one being that the artist is the model for both characters. Also it might be instructive to note that 1989 #1 was started way back in 2001, and 1989 #3 is a product of 2008. Speaking of which, did you notice Ron has the same haircut and clothing that he did at the beginning of 1989 #1?
At any rate, I’ll see what my people in the lab can do.
