I know this won’t get posted, cause every OTHER comment I’ve made hasn’t been posted… BUT… um.. well, this one MIGHT get posted, just cause I made a big fuss about it… hmm, but maybe now that I’ve called you on it, it may NOT be posted… sweet jesus… thinking about it makes my head spin… this type of talk is likely to cause some sort of rift in space-time…

well… that sounds like a better plot idea than, say, ‘poopies’

As you know, flattery will get you everywhere.

  3. chonga the goat boy Says:

there’s a theory that god, wracked with indecision on some minor issues, has littered the universe with placeholders. when man discovers one of them, god has to decide how it works before man figures it out. he also uses this as a time to evaluate the universe’s progress so far, and wether it should be destroyed. ‘if particle x behaves in fashion y, it means the universe is retroactively unstable. has mankind’s progress been worth the effort?’ there’s a book where this happpens. maybe it’s a cautionary tale on the dangers of science.

going by this theory, your comments on riotfish will either

    a) show up
    b) not show up
    c) the universe will explode

Not very scientific OR internally consistent.

The state of the Riotfish post would have to be relevant to the continued existence of the universe, AND god still has to decide. So the post doesn’t show up AND the universe explodes. It’s also possible that the universe will explode for completely unrelated reasons, or even a different “placeholder” off somewhere else in the universe. For example, random evaporations of microscopic black holes that can’t be detected.

  5. The worst audience participant Cirque du Soleil ever had Says:

No, no NO! The universe is relative; God and the universe are all in your head - so in the case of c: the only thing that will explode is you. Internet message board posts are all relativistic mental representations of our inner dialogues as well, so it’s really your own fault your posts are not showing up, Jack. Some deep part of your brain must have disagreed with your inflammatory anti-Newspaper Comic Strip comments and censored you.

  6. T'Pac Says:

My first instinct was to criticize your logic as “relativistic” and “solipsist.” Then I realized that to you, these aren’t criticisms. There’s really nothing I can say to this, especially since you believe that I’m some (relativistic!) aspect of your own mind. This is a logic pretzel so complex my head really might explode. Good day sir!
